This looks grossly overpriced to me. These things are all over Ebay, at around $20-$30 for a 5m roll. Do a search on "
LED strip" and you will see them.

Hi Steve,
We are aware that there are many
LED Strip Lights available at a cheaper price online, however we feel these are better suited to the camping/4WD market as they are housed in a waterproof casing (many on the market are not) an come complete with 3 metres of cable, an in-line switch and a cigarette/merit plug (so there is no further wiring to be done).
I hope this clears up the reason behind the pricing of these items, and if you have any further questions, just let me know.

I have seen the cheap ones on Ebay and do not believe they compare to the product supplied via ExplorerOZ. Steve you get what you pay for and in this case you need to look closely.
Cigarette Plug Connection wired and in Place $10-15
Protective Casing & Quality Lights - $5-10
It's not hard to throw some numbers around to make a comparison.

P.S. Just saw the
shop listing and I believe this needs updating with better photos and description, from first glance I would make a similar conclusion to Steve.

I have bought the dual yellow / white
light one from the
shop and I have bought the cheap ones of ebay. The ebay ones where not worth the few dollars I paid.
The
shop ones are much superior quality and you will feel you got your money's worth with those ones.
Just my opinion.

I also agree with Steve,
Recently purchased a 5 metre roll off ebay and has exact same specs as advertised here, fully waterproof, 3M white adhesive, the picture of the roll also looks the same, came in under $30 delivered. This cannot be compared to the combo yellow/white
light sold in the store, which I have, as totally different product.

When your talking white
LED's there is a grading for them for quality and
light output from cheap to expensive and there is a huge difference in their output.
Think of white
LED's the same way as the grade diamonds...... you can by cheap diamonds and you can buy expensive diamonds and it doesn't mean the seller is making more money or ripping you off..... it means you getting a better product.
So a cheap 300mm
LED strip
light with 20
LED's might have 1/3 the
light output of a quality 300mm
LED strip
light with 20
LED's...... MEANING you will need 3 of the cheap ones to perform the same a the more expensive ones.
